Common Questions

Do you paint pets?

I do not do any paintings with pets/animals. However, if they are in the background or the painting is not as focused on the animal/pet, I may consider a commission.

Do you paint people?

I love painting people! I typically do full body paintings of 1-2 people with a landscape background. However, I do not do head shots, or very large family photos. Remember, I am a landscape painter, so I would be delighted to capture those you love in a beautiful background, exploring our wonderful world! :)

NOTE: All people paintings are done with a face, but without facial features. However, if there is a prominent facial feature about an individual (mustache, glasses, beard) I usually will add that.

Do you do buildings/churches/houses?

Yes! I paint pretty much any buildings, as long as a have a good composition to work off.

How much will it cost?

My commission pricing is based off square inch. I charge $0.50 per square inch + $10. So if you wanted an 8x10 inch painting, the cost would be $50.

How large/small are your sizes for commissions?

I can do any size up to 18x24 inch!

Would my painting come with a frame?

If you choose sizes 8x10, 9x12, or 18x24, your commission will come with a complementary black frame, free of charge!

If you do not choose one of the sizes listed above, you will not receive a frame, but the painting will still be wrapped with protection when you receive it!

Do you do live wedding paintings?

I do not do live wedding paintings at the time. However, I have done a few bridal paintings from past wedding photos/engagement shoots! This is perfect for anniversary gifts.
