Hello! I'm Claire, an 18-year-old watercolor artist who has integrated her faith into every brushstroke.
Ever since I picked up a paintbrush and fell in love with watercolors, I have never looked back. It's been a few years now that I have painted with this medium, and I don't plan on stopping.
So what got me hooked?
Painting, especially painting landscapes, allows me to escape into the wonder and awe of the Creator's masterpieces. The amount of thought and skill put into His works of nature is beyond all human capabilities. The details are so fine and intricate, yet at the same time, His creation is so vast. It's difficult to even understand it all.
And just to think that those same careful hands that created the flowers, butterflies, and mountains also created us.
Creating helps me fully appreciate how lucky I am to have this life, and what a gift nature is. It is also my way of saying thanks. He gave me a talent, and I plan on using it for his glory.
It is also my hope that you, too, can see the beauty of this world the way that I do. I want to share the same joy with you that I experience when I stop to pick a flower or see a bird in the sky. When you purchase one of my paintings, I hope it reminds you of how lucky you are and encourages you to see the good, no matter how small!
